Correct and traceable models before larger models.

The present priority is methodological correctness and experimental traceability before computational scale. Work is concentrated on consolidating the 1D numerical evidence, machine parametrisation, process configuration, material-property data, and the experimental basis required before flashing/upsetting modelling, calibration and validation can advance.
